Little Day Outing To The Southern Islands II

Set sail for a family adventure off the Singapore mainland, to the southern islands of St. John’s and Lazarus!

The fun starts aboard Marina South Ferries‘ MSF Natsu, the only southern islands-bound ferry that features an open top deck, where you can catch panoramic views while enjoying the soothing sea breeze. You can also choose to sit at the lower deck, which is air-conditioned.

Upon arrival at St. John’s Island, experienced guides will take us around, showing us interesting sights and sharing fascinating stories about the island’s past. Did you know that St. John’s Island used to be a quarantine centre for infectious diseases and a rehabilitation home for opium addicts?

As you enjoy the guided tour, kids and adults alike will be participating in a quest that we’ve created specially for this outing. What a fun way to learn about the island!

After the interactive discovery session, we’ll be headed for Lazarus Island’s beautiful beach for a picnic, with a dinner bento provided for every ticket holder. There will be no structured programme here, so feel free to fly a kite, throw a frisbee, or just relax in the embrace of nature!

Wrap up the day with a city skyline cruise back to the mainland, made possible with a special arrangement by Marina South Ferries!

ITINERARY
• Meet at Marina South Pier
• Set sail for St. John’s Island
• Enjoy a guided tour-cum-adventure quest at St. John’s Island
• Walk over to Lazarus Island
• Picnic dinner and free-and-easy time at Lazarus Island’s Pink Lagoon beach
[Bento dinner (halal) provided for each ticket holder. There will be two options onsite:
A. Roasted Chicken with Achar, Sliced Cucumber and Chicken Rice; B. Chicken Chop with Deep Fried Spring Roll, Stirfried Cauliflower and Fried Beehoon]

There are three types of tickets available:
– A child-adult ticket – $60 (1 child-adult ticket admits 1 child and 1 adult)
– An additional adult or child ticket – $30 (This can only be used in conjunction with a child-adult pair ticket.)

This outing is recommended for 5-year-olds and above.
