Welcome to the Little Day Out Shop!

It’s “lights, camera, and action!” this December holidays as we venture to HortPark for a fun-filled workshop on creating unique family videos.

Conducted by multi award-winning producer Tracy Wong, this workshop will have different members of the family taking on the roles of Director, Actor, Scriptwriter, etcetera, and working together to come up with your own family movie set in the lush compounds of Hort Park.

Will it be a mystery drama unfolding at the void deck of Block 50?

A news report on sightings of a dragon in the park?

Or a music video of the family lip-syncing to your favourite Christmas tune, surrounded by beautiful greenery? Just imagine what a cool Christmas greeting video that will make!

Not only will you enjoy getting creative together as a family, you’ll also learn nifty skills such as framing and setting, and pick up editing tips – all of which you can apply in your future videos.

The experience doesn’t end on the day of the workshop. Every family will go home with the footage that they’ve filmed to complete their editing at home. Submit your final masterpiece to Little Day Out, and you’ll win Bakerzin’s very photogenic Rainbow Yule Log and Yule Want Croquembouche (worth $100) if your movie is selected as the winning entry! One winner will be selected from each workshop session.
