As part of #Buy Singlit 2018 and in collaboration with heART Studio, Armour Publishing presents Creative Art Workshop with Ranger Anne for children.
In this workshop, children will learn how to make silhouette paintings of animals that they read about in the interesting stories from the Ranger Anne book series, written by Anita Sebastian.
Silhouette painting is an art form that makes use of the recognisable shape of the subject matter, often over a contrasting background, to bring the artwork to life. The little ones will learn how to paint in this style using acrylic on canvas, with guidance from the experienced art instructors from heART Studio.
It’ll be a fun time of learning and artistic expression!
Recommended for 5- to 12-year-olds.
Each purchase of a ticket to the workshop includes a free copy of a Ranger Anne Series book (either the Noisy Elephant or the Playful Tapir) written by Anita Sebastian.

About the Ranger Anne Series
Ranger Anne has one of the best jobs in the world – she takes care of animals and plays with them! This series of books is written by Anita Sebastian, a local writer and editor, who is a zoologist by training. The Ranger Anne series is inspired from her time of working at the Night Safari in Singapore many years ago. Anita was featured on 938live on the Women of Worth segment where the Ranger Anne series was discussed.
